Questo diluente antisiliconico serve principalmente per sgrassare componenti di motori moto e auto, imbarcazioni ecc ecc.
Questo tipo di sgrassante serve ad eliminare grassi organici ed inorganici dal metallo senza produrre ruggine ne ossido come invece accadrebbe se venisse utilizzato un solvente nitro.
Altri prodotti come la nafta il petrolio ed altre sostanze sono in ogni caso sconsigliati per la verniciatura dei motori e dei metalli.
