CANDY COLORS BASE COAT

Professional candy color in spray can. Candy colors are used since many years into airbrush and custom painting art to create an incredible deep color effect as a colored glass over a metallic surface.

Thanks to the transparency candy paint can be applied over a metallic aluminium base gray or gold for example. At the end the result will for example a beautiful red that shine over sunlight and show the metallic base over itself.

This effect help to show all pieces have much more volume and depth.

Kustom Service produce all candy colors as water base, solvent base, concentrate candy paint and spray cans.

Al candy liquid version are for professionals and they can be applied with common spray gun or airbrush.

CANDY CONCENTRATE PAINT

Candy concentrate paint are special super concentrate pigment or dye that can not be used alone but just in combo with a neutral clear base. This base can be 1K or 2K (as used in USA but we don't like suggest this system).

All Candy are just clear and must be applied over metallized or pearlescent base to have the effect you look in the picture on our website.

In any case at the end of painting, all candy paint must be protect with a custom clear coat with extra UV additive filter inside. Our clear coat series K2, K4 and K8 with our extra anti UV filter are the best combination to do this Job.

Please do not confuse a good clear coat as for example PPG, SIkkens, Standox with our special Custom Paint Clear Coat. Our technology is complete different. Many people think that a good common clear can be the same of Kustom Service paint just because the price, absolute NO, this is a big error!

Our clear are born for custom paint and custom colors, they contain a special UV filter but in any case they must be added with our extra UV in 2%.

With all other clear probably, candy disappear under sunlight in few weeks or one or two month.

METAL FLAKES

Metal Flakes airbrush Custom base coat artistic paint. All Metalflakes must be diluted at 70% on weight with an acrylic thinner from Kustomservice and sprayed over a silver or black base coat.

At the end must be protect with our KS08-KS04 or KS02 clearcoat from Kustom Service.

After clear coat it can be colored with our candy colors, this because you can have a dramatic deep color effect with candies, the effect that you can't have with a common colored metalflakes.

MARBLIZED

Marblized airbrush and custom paint base is the most artistic solvent base paint for your custom paint project.

All colors are pearl base so you can use all of them on every pastel solvent base color.

These paint must be protect with our clear coat K series.

SOLVENT BORNE NEON

Solvent Borne neon color for professional airbrush and custom painting. All neon paint must to be applied over a white base coat.

All Neon colors intensity have a limited life under sunlight and UV ray. FOr this reason must to be used only our Clear Coat K series as K8-K4-K2. In addiction use our UV filter. You can find it in the same section. Other clear coat are not good for these paint because are not project for this job.

NEON WATER BASED

The airbrush fluorescent colors are build with special powder that release an incredible luminosity. These paint are UV reactive and limited lightfaster. Thins because they are slowly killed by the sunlight. For this reason is better use a special ANTI UV CLEAR COAT. This help the Neon color to resist during the years, but remember that every neon paint cant resist for a long time under sunlight.

These colors are most used on cars, bikes, helmets, bikes and bicycles during a race , but if you want you can use on every piece you consider have to be well visible.

All neon paint are available in water base or solvent base and the tones are exactly the same.
